Welcome to the Pomona High School Band home page. Pomona High School is located in Arvada, Colorado a suburb of Denver.
11 CBA State Championships, 3 time CMEA Honor Band, and part of the Pomona Arts and Humanities Program
Pomona High School has 1,598 students, grade 9-12. The Pomona High School Band is regarded throughout the country for its committment to excellence. The Pomona Band is part of the Pomona Arts and Humanties Academic Achievement Program(known as the PAH PROGRAM) and offers 2 concert bands, marching band, 2 jazz ensembles, winter guard, winter percussion ensemble and orchestra. The Pomona High School marching band is a 11 time Colorado Bandmaster's Association Class 5A State Champion in the years of 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. The Pomona Symphonic Band was a 2000, 2003 and 2006 Colorado Music Educator's Association (CMEA) Honor Band. The Pomona Winter Guard and Percussion Ensemble were 2004 WGI World Finalist. Pomona Band has marched twice in the world famous Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade in 1996 and 2005. The Pomona Band also marched in the London New Year's Day Parade in 2001 and 2006.
